Atlas, 59, is one of the two names, along with Buddy McGirt, who were rumored to be at the top of Bradley’s list of choices. He’s an outspoken New York native who once worked with an amateur Mike Tyson and has trained a number of fighters from all over the world.

Atlas is also known for his boxing commentating during NBC’s coverage of the last four summer Olympics, and ESPN’s Fright Night Fights.
